- Can a volunteer with no technical background run the site?
- Yes. Editing happens in plain forms on a phone, not in code. Each volunteer gets a role, so the person who posts events cannot change the giving page by accident.
- How does online giving work, and what does it cost?
- Gifts run through Stripe, one-time or monthly, with receipts sent automatically. Stripe charges its per-transaction fee. We do not take a percentage of gifts.
- Can members keep their information private?
- Each member chooses what appears in the directory. Nothing is visible without sign-in, and the database enforces that a member can only edit their own record.
- Do you build league and tournament tools?
- Yes. We run a free round robin tool for pickleball organizers and a live presence app in both app stores, and we build registration, rosters and scoring for leagues of any sport.
- We have almost no budget. Where do we start?
- The smallest version: a site you can update and a giving page, live in the first week. The directory and registration come when the first season or campaign needs them.
